Physical Disability - Under 65

Physical disorders can be caused by strokes, or by acquired brain injury such as those caused by road traffic accidents. However there are a number of specific physical disorders that can be brought about from conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, motor-neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and Huntington’s disease. Each one of these brings its own physical issues.

Many homes can cater for residents or patients with these specific physical disorders. However, for more extreme situations, it may be good to consider more specialist homes although, as always, it is always important to remember an individual’s overall care needs when selecting the right care home or care home with nursing.
